Great group of people. I just thought Austin could be a little more well versed in different types of cameras. I'll definitely book another outing when available.

    Clarissa Osorez
Clarissa Osorez has previously been a photographer for the dance department at Rio Hondo College in Whitter CA. As a photographer for the dance company, she captured dancers movements performed on stage. Her photos have been printed in the El Paisano newsletter, showcasing the dancers and her photography. She is a freelance graduate portrait photographer and does product photography, photographing antiques for online auction companies. She has also worked for photography studios that travel to grade schools to photograph the students for their seasonal portraits. One of Clarissa's many passions is teaching. As a teacher, her methodology belief is to encourage hands-on learning by creating a thoughtfully prepared environment that allows the learner to experience real world scenarios which motivates independence.

Clarissa's preferred method of photography is black and white 35mm. For her, the anticipation of not knowing what the photo looks like until it is developed in the dark room is what makes the art of photography special to her. She enjoys photographing antique and vintage architecture in natural outside sunlight. Clarissa's specialty is capturing movement, like cars, sports games. Her favorite movement to capture is dance. She also specializes in capturing moving light.
Clarissa's motto is... "It does not matter how old or new your camara is, nor does it matter how many or how little bells and whistles your camara has. What matters is your composition."

We all see the images that we want to capture in a different way. Some will understand what you see and may or may not like it, others will not understand what you see and may or may not like it. Art is subjective and photography is art.

Clarissa Osorez is available for private bookings

Available Saturdays and Sundays, mornings, afternoons and evenings.
I offer Wedding photography, Quincea f1era photography, Sports photography, Dance Performance photography, Graduation portraits, Product photography and Real Estate photography

The name of this photo is called "The Crossover". Bridges to me represent a transition from one place to another. This photo was taken on the 10th wedding anniversary of my husband and I. As we crossed over from one year to the next in our marriage, I wanted to capture something that represented that transition. The bridge was that inspiration.

I was on the way to my cousins birthday party and on the drive to the far east towards the fort bliss area , the sun was beginning to set and it remind of the scene from Star Wars where Luke Skywalker sees the two sunset, and I had to take a quick shot from the passenger side and this photo was the end result.

For 2 weeks every winter Sydney is lit up with amazing colours and beams of light over the Harbour Bridge, Opera House, and various buildings throughout the city. I captured this photo of the Opera House from across the water at the Overseas Passenger Terminal. I used a slow shutter speed (of 1 sec) to capture light trails from the passing water craft, and I held my iPhone up against my lens to create an artificial reflection on the water.Canon R6ii, RF 70-200mm f2.8 (@ 70mm), 1s, iso 200.

Takes me back to my days in the Navy and seeing the jets coming and going from Hickam AFB when I was stationed at Pearl Harbor NSY&IMF and would shoot a round of golf at Hickam AFB's Mamala Bay golf course after working on the submarines. The Superstion Mountains were named Monte Superstition by Spanish conquistadors who arrived in the 1540s. Greedy for gold, they tried to get local Apaches to show them where it was however, believing the area was home to the God of Thunder, they refused for fear of angering him. This photo is one I took in september 2023. On this night I captured quite a few different photos and perspectives of the milky way over and around the bridge. My goal on this evening was to take full advantage of the position of the milky way as there are very few opportunities that you can photograph the milky way positioned near the bridge during the year. I found this photo with other ones from that night I had not edited. Astro photography needs conditions to be right in relation to moon,
