We run two hour photography sessions based on a photography theme/technique/style and they take place in various locations in El Paso .

  • New to photography? We also run a popular 3 hour Beginners Guide to Photography Class once a month. And once in a while we will run special niche 3 hour classes, for example, Astrophotography - so do subscribe to our newsletter to know when the next on is!

  • Who can attend? Open to all skill levels, from beginners to keen amateurs. The photography instructor is there to help you with camera settings and provide any advice you need.

The class was fantastic. We need more classes with him. He was so easy going, patient and kind. He actually showed us the basics of shutter speed, f stops and iso and walked us thru the settings. I really hope to see another class with him again.

    Title or Location: Autumn Mountain
Every morning walking back from taking my son to school, I see the same mountain, but it is never the same. The sun rays are every day in a different angle. The sky sometimes bright blue and sometimes cloudy gray. Looking at the mountain that day, I could see green trees, a rugged broken hill, in which the shape of the mountain and the shadows casted in it seemed to point at the broken hill.

Every full Moon I plan ahead of time my next shoot. This time on Photopills App I notice August was the right time to take the Moon rising right behind the Symbolic X from our dear neighbor city of Juarez. I just prepared my trypo, my Camera and waited for the right time. On the waiting time I met Jeff, who became my good friend companion on the Moon chase every month

I happened upon this on a day trip. I really loved the post human feel of the scenery. I chose an edit that highlights the feelings I felt when I was observing the landscape.

16th June 2024, 11.35 AMISO 200, 75 -300 mm lense, f/9 1/800s Gave a color enhance from snapseed mobile app. I am an international graduate student. I recently bought a camera to capture the memories of my travels and the nature in the USA. When I have free time, I usually wander around campus to see the hidden beauty of nature. I noticed there is a butterfly season, so I spend some time capturing butterflies and cataloging them for my personal interest.

Canyon Overlook in Zion National Park, an easy 30 min hike to this spot was worth it. View of the canyons and the switchbacks. Sprinkle of snow dust on the peaks makes gives it a bit more drama.

Flamingoes are kept indoors during the winter months but on this occasion a shaft of sunlight from a window revealed the beautiful colours of these birds. Their heads are always bobbing up and down so composition is difficult and focusing on the eye of the main subject is essential. Canon 6D MK2, 100-400 L lens 1/[email protected]@300mmMinimal post production was required
